Dr. Abigail Chaffin is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Plastic Surgery at Tulane University. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and she is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Chaffin is also a Certified Wound Specialist Physician, and a Master of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Chaffin focuses her practice on wound medicine and wound reconstructive surgery, general reconstructive plastic surgery, breast reconstruction and complex abdominal wall reconstruction. She has published over 40 peerreviewed publications in plastic surgery and wound medicine.
